New Cereal Bowl ~ Day 69
Kensington's new favorite thing? This cereal bowl with a straw attached that a good friend recently got her. She already loves cold cereal and eats it just about every morning for breakfast. Now? She has it for breakfast and bedtime snack too. And the other night when she would've otherwise scowled @ the soup we were having for dinner? She slurped it up through the straw. And once she got the flavor of the broth? She dug right in with her spoon! Thank you, thank you! Whoever invented this is a genius!

All Girls, All Day ~ Day 66
Since Daddy and Brenden were out of town on a camping trip this weekend, we spent an all girls day with our friends Sandhya and Neela on Saturday. We had a very good day and for once the girls were BOTH in great spirits all day long.
Here they are sitting on the box they were coloring. Uh oh. Kensi is going for the Binky...
Looks like Neela was faster than her and managed to hang on to it. That was the closest we came to a confrontation all day! See, I told you they were both in good spirits!
And the picture below? I added it just because it is so cute. This was later in the day after nap time. The girls had their first official "Nap Over". How cute is that?!

Zoo Day ~ Day 65
We went to the Zoo for the first time this year today. It was a beautiful and bright day. I decided KK needed a pair of sunglasses. Here she is trying them on.She looked like a star and loved them....for about 5 minutes! Oh well!
The picture above is her watching the monkey's in the video below. She was so enthralled with them. So cute to watch!

A Break In The Rain ~ Day 61
What a rainy, overcast day we had today. Thankfully we had a break in the rain right around 6:30 this evening and I was able to take Kensington outside. You know how she loves to be out and she was going stir crazy inside. Here she is dancing on the deck steps. That is our dog Sadie in the background. (Yep, the temperamental one!)
Her new favorite thing is the "big girl" swing.

I Love You ~ Day 60
Today we went shopping for some shrubs and trees for our landscaping. Kensi enjoyed running around and playing in the dirt of all the trees. She also became very fascinated with the flat used to transport the plants to our car. Here she is helping daddy push it. She was so sad when we had to put it away and go home.
The day ended on a PERFECT note with Kensington saying to me "I love you" for the first time! The string around my finger just got allot tighter!!

About Clarence ~ Day 57
Today was a day about Clarence. To do something special to honor his due date we bought some helium balloons. After saying a little something to him, we each let our balloons go and sent them up to Heaven.
Up & Up Until we could barely see them anymore we watched. And then they were gone. I hope he enjoyed them.

Here is Kensi with hers. She is still to little to understand what we were doing so she decided to keep hers. I think Clarence would've liked that. She did too...
