About Clarence ~ Day 57

Today was a day about Clarence. To do something special to honor his due date we bought some helium balloons. After saying a little something to him, we each let our balloons go and sent them up to Heaven.
Up & Up Until we could barely see them anymore we watched. And then they were gone. I hope he enjoyed them.

Here is Kensi with hers. She is still to little to understand what we were doing so she decided to keep hers. I think Clarence would've liked that. She did too...

Until it popped! She was a good sport about it though. No tears, thankfully!

  1. That is beautiful. I always read your blog but never fully understood the pain of losing a baby. I had an ectopic last year (which today was my due date for that pregnancy...sucks) and it wasn't that hard because from the beginning of that pregnancy we knew it wasn't looking good. But this last one that I lost at 7.2 weeks was so hard to get through. I can feel now only what I believe can be "some" of your pain. You were further along and I know each day that passed I loved my little one more and more. I am thinking of you and think you are so strong and I admire that.

  2. I think that is a wonderful thing to do. We dont so much honor their due dates, although we have their meals on those dates, as we do their birthdays. We go somewhere special and do something for them, that we would have done with them. And we take their box with us. Then we have cake and their special dinners.

I'm glad that you were able to celebrate and remember as a family.

  5. It was so moving to watch the balloons floating to heaven knowing they were for C.W. There will always be a special corner in our hearts for C.W. Love, Mommaw and Poppaw N.

  6. Pam, this was a different day. It was his due date. It was just Chad, Brenden, Kensington and I.
