Of the good variety of course!
We went to Target this morning. We both needed to get out of the house. When we got there we each got a treat. Mommy got a Pumpkin Spice Latte (heaven!) and Kensington got some popcorn (LOVE Target popcorn). After being a good girl and staying in the cart, helping me pick out birthday and anniversary cards, and fret over what was the best deal on diapers, I told her she could pick out a little something @ the dollar section. This witches hat was the first thing we spotted and she loved it instantly!
She actually got mad on the way home b/c she couldn't put the hat on while she was sitting in the car seat! The rim hit the back of the seat and consequently it wouldn't sit on her head right, instead falling over her face. Thankfully Mommy was thinking on her toes (thanks Latte) and started playing Peek-A-Boo with her. She kept hiding under the hat and then lifting it up to say "Peek-A-Boo!" 
At this point she was still in love with the hat, but not amused with the idea of me taking any pictures. She was, however, amused that she now had a hat just like the Halloween Barbie Gigi got her!
This is after a nap gone sour. She keeps waking up crying after sleeping just a short time. I know she feels crummy but I think she is missing her Binky too. She hasn't mentioned Binky though, which is a good thing.
Oh and guess who is having trouble throwing the Binkies away? I just can't part with them for some reason. Yet another milestone surpassed. My baby is growing up way too rapidly!

She may have a witches hat but she is still My Little Miss Sunshine. Mommaw and Poppaw hate it that you are sick. You look so pitiful. Wish we were there to cuddle with you. Kisses and hugs to Kensington and Brenden. xoxoxoxo

ReplyDeleteShe's the cutest little witch ever! We also made a Target run this afternoon and I saw that little hat! Maybe next year Gracie will be okay with something on her head!
